The power of prayer is an amazing thing. One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

It’s not an easy thing to do…to not be anxious about anything, but it’s what the Lord is telling us to do. I firmly believe in the power of prayer and I know how hard it is to really find peace, especially in the midst of the turmoil the world can throw at us. We need prayer partners. We need to pray for one another. (James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.)
